Bird Lovers

The birds at Janbal will excite any interested Bird Watcher, the male Cassowary wandering through the grounds, the "walk to work" call of the Noisy Pitta, the rasping voice of the elusive Victoria's Riflebird or the constant trill of the Double-eyed Fig parrot as it feeds in the Fig tree beside your window. The beauty of birdwatching at Janbal is simple. Just sit on the veranda with your favourite drink and a pair of binoculars and the birds will come to you!
